What if we could turn the presence of "difficult people" in our lives into an opportunity to learn how to live in the moment? For most of us, dealing with difficult individuals can be challenging. They often annoy, hassle, and irritate us, triggering various levels of unhealthy reactions. What we might not have realized is that these difficult people also serve as mirrors, reflecting our own dysfunctional mental states and offering us a chance to heal them. In "Difficult People," Lisette Larkins shares her personal experience of caring for an Alzheimer's patient, which revealed the inherent resistance that every mind exhibits toward the present moment. This resistance lies at the root of our mental anguish and suffering. As she observed this resistance in her "difficult person," Larkins recognized the same mechanism at work within herself. Her journey became an intimate exploration of how everyday challenges and difficult people can act as catalysts for spiritual awakening. For Lisette Larkins, the key to providing care to her patient was to be completely present and non-reactive. This practice eventually led her to achieve a "chronic state of well-being," which she believes is attainable by all through the practice of "presence."
After her initial astonishment at being contacted by extraterrestrial beings, Lisette Larkins has spent more than three decades embracing the guidance provided by her ET mentors. As a result, she now leads a fulfilling life in Malibu, California. Her days are filled with training at CrossFit, volunteering alongside her therapy dog Kelly, authoring new books, delivering talks and lectures on abundance creation, spearheading fresh projects, and savoring a life characterized by laughter, abundance, and joy.
