In the fall of 2003, then 26 years old, Chris Wark, was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Shortly after, surgeons removed one third of his colon as well as lymph nodes. His oncologist advised him that after surgery, Chris would also need to endure six to nine months of chemotherapy. After some soul searching and research, Chris made the radical decision to say no to conventional treatment. Instead, Chris began a raw vegan diet, which included special salads and juicing. He began a vigorous a lymph cleansing exercise program, including rebounding. Today, over a decade later, Chris remains cancer free and has become an outspoken advocate of chemo free cancer treatment. This is his story and his lessons learned.
